Imperial Harvest is a historical fiction that tackles pertinent themes of violence, dispossession, imperialism, the struggles and dreams of women, and the lasting effects of war on the human psyche. Set in 13th-century Mongolia, Imperial Harvest follows Yen Se, a man who has lost everything to the Khan empire. Swept up in the tide of the Khan’s imperialist expansion, Yen Se’s journey takes him beyond Mongolia and into Spain; across oceans and through burning fields; from a place of desperation towards new hopes for peace.
