Event details:
Date: 6:00pm – 7:00pm, Wednesday 2 July 2025
Location: Kelvin Club downstairs bar, 14-30 Melbourne Place, Melbourne VIC 3000
About the event:
KELVIN CONFIDENTIAL LIVE presents enduring Australian musical icons Mick Thomas and Paulie Stewart in conversation and song.
Two irrepressible creative legends come together to discuss their roots, inspirations and passions and then play some tunes in this utterly unique evening of quintessentially Melbourne stories and songs.
Mick was born in the Latrobe Valley. By his early twenties he was living in Melbourne playing in bands ultimately forming the Weddings, Parties Anything group. He is currently defying gravity with Squeezebox Wally and the Roving Commission and when not lugging his sorry arse down the highway is a card-carrying member of the Old Fathers of Northcote Society.
Paulie Stewart AO is not only the legendary frontman for the infamous Painters And Dockers pub / punk band. Paulie also worked as a music journalist with the Herald Sun for 30 years.
Paulie & Mick have recently published their stories with Melbourne Books and these will be available on the night.
Event tickets are $25, RSVP to the event here.
