Meet our Authors
Dominic Pellegrino was director of Mocopan Coffee, one of Australia’s founding coffee roasters, from 1982 to 1995. During this time, coffee was a hard sell; espresso-style even harder. Dominic witnessed many key changes in the industry, as well as a shift in consumer attitudes towards good coffee in all its styles. Dominic is dedicated to sharing the history of coffee and the role migration played in changing a city and a nation. His book is inspired by the Pellegrino’s connection to coffee, and Dominic’s experience being the son of immigrant parents. Melbourne Coffee Roaster: A History available to purchase here.
